Coming Home

The girls weren't able to hold or really see Jayden in the hospital thanks to RSV season.  We were able to time it so that when they took Jayden and I up to our room, the girls were in the hallway.  But after those few minutes were up, they could only look at him behind glass.  They were thrilled to be able to hold their brother and are both obsessed with him! It's almost a little overwhelming. But they really are great helpers and very proud sisters!

Life with little Jayden has been great! Although he hasn't spoiled me like my other two by sleeping really well at night, he's still a great baby! (Yes my other two were great sleepers. Kylie slept 6 hours straight her first night home and by the 4th night was sleeping 8 hours! Kayla took a little longer and only gave me 4 hours at a time her first night, but by two weeks old was easily sleeping 8 hours). Yes I realize I am spoiled when it comes to everything baby! However, this little guy is not making night time so easy. He's up every hour or two and takes at least an hour to get back to sleep, sometimes THREE hours! He's a champ during the day though, sleeping 3 or 4 hours at a time! Little stinker has his time's all mixed up!! But he's still great and even nursing has been an easy task! Yeah! We love having him out of my tummy and are enjoy every minute with him. Even as I have typed this ENTIRE thing, he's simply been sleeping on my tummy the whole time!
